This list is by no means exhaustive. For more information on how the board-certified dermatologists at The Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center of Wilmington utilize dermatologic surgeries to treat certain skin conditions and diseases, get in touch with our clinic.

This depends on a few factors: the extent of the skin condition, the size of the affected area, and the type of treatment.

For example, a cryotherapy procedure used to treat an actinic keratosis will take a shorter amount of time compared to Mohs surgery addressing and treating a basal cell carcinoma.

At The Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center of Wilmington, the dermatologic surgeries and procedures are performed by our two experienced surgeons: Dr. Landon E. Stigall, M.D. and Dr. Erin Stigall, M.D.

With regards to Mohs surgery, which is a highly-specialized skin cancer treatment, Dr. Landon Stigall is an experienced Mohs surgeon who is Fellowship-trained and has performed over 5,000 Mohs surgeries. This makes Dr. Stigall one of the most experienced Mohs surgeons in the Wilmington area.

This depends on the type of skin condition being treated, as well as the form of treatment. We recommend consulting with your insurance company to find out if a certain dermatology surgery is covered by your healthcare plan.
